So I guess the Stray Cats were a pretty popular rockabilly group from the 80's, especially here in the UK. Having been offered free front row tickets and VIP passes to the Sold Out show in Brixton, I felt I should familiarize myself with some of their work. After turning to YouTube, I surprisingly knew all of the words to their songs "Strut" and "Rock this Town"-definitely chart toppers or possibly popular karaoke picks. Anways, we took the tube straight to Brixton and found ourselves arriving right on time for the show. As the youngest members of the audience. and although we might not have known many of the songs, the lead singer, Brian Setzer, (Zoot Suit Riot) Lee, and the Drummer were a show in themselves. We had a blast backstage and an eventful night with Lee (the Bassist), his wife Debbie, and some other characters afterwards. It was definitely a night to remember.
