Sightseeing, New Friends, and Late Nights

After only a mere two weeks of residing in London, I somehow feel as though I have lived here for years. It is somehow already second nature to look right and then left, to use coins instead of dollar bills, and to bag my own groceries at Tesco. I have almost memorized the tube map and feel unbelievably comfortable exploring the city on my own. Yes, I was a little bit frightened to leave home, but having gotten a feel for my surroundings, I am completely at ease.

Hannah, Mike, Jen, and I have booked our trip to Amsterdam- certainly looking forward to that. And it looks like Madrid and Venice are also in the works, so we will see how that plays out.

Some of my favorite places so far:
Oxford Street- Selffridges & Topsop
Covent Garden- Food for Thought
The Thames River & Tate Modern
Islington- Upper Street- Fig & Olive's Banoffee Pie
All Saints- I'm currently obsessed with everything here.
EAT- Probably hundreds of locations in London alone, but mmm so tasty.
