Last Weekend was the Mayor's Thames Festival along the river. Although the crowd was composed mostly of tourists, it was breathtaking to see London all lit up. I plan on going on the London ( Millenium) Eye soon, and that should really be an amazing view of the city. Yesterday my 'Seeing London' class went to the Royal Botanical Gardens @ Kew. The gardens and botanical glasshouses were gorgeous, and the weather equally exceptional. I've really been so lucky with weather so far. It's been sunny a majority of my time here, excluding the one morning last week I was in what I would call a pretty severe rain storm on my way to class. Anyways, besides beauty, the gardens have much historical value and are definitely a sight worth seeing. Oh, and I hear there is a skating rink in the winter!
Last Night was a LFW party @ Punk. Cool crowd and good tunes.
If only Kate had showed up a few minutes earlier.
